Oriya Ratans
What can you say when Oriya IAS officers become chief secretaries in five states? Y ou can only call them Oriya Ratnas" ! They are: P K Mishra, Chief Secretary , Uttar Pradesh; L K Tripathi, Chief Secretary, Tamil Nadu; ASK Das in Uttaranchal Pradesh, AK Deb in West Bengal and A K Tripathi in Orissa itself.

They are not Oriyas. Rather, they are Bhaiyyas and Bongs from the Orissa cadre
Debashis you have no clue what you are talking about...one of them happens to be my father and he is from Cuttack and my mother is from Balasore, so I don't think you can get any more Oriya than that...so please do not make comments which have no basis...we have a *FEW* Oriya folks doing good by us Oriyas, so lets support them vs. this cynicism.
